The base of this statue of Civil War General Sherman shows a young female who represents Peace. The relief panel shows the General planning the battle of Missionary Ridge, and the medallion shows Generals Smith and McPherson. By Carl Rohl-Smith, this monument was dedicated in 1903. It is stands near the Treasury Building in President's Park.
