This equestrian of General Casimir Pulaski stands in Freedom Plaza along Pennsylvania Avenue. He became the commander of all rebel forces fighting for independence after arriving from Poland in 1777 and fought many battles before his fatal wounding at age 31. Created by Kazimierz Chodziński and dedicated in 1910.
