No Ordinary Men

Jack Lewis was no ordinary man, in part because he believed there were no ordinary men. Better known as author C.S. Lewis, he died on November 22nd, 1963, the day another man called Jack met a violent death in Dallas. The death of writer Aldous Huxley that same day was serene and peaceful. Huxley's death was little noticed at the time; the news that Lewis had died spread slowly.

"Men must endure their going hence." But their works remain.
